Do not trust theAverageElectrical Engineering
Do not trust the financial aid department to handle your money. You must be involved directly in every single transaction or you will regret it.

At first start, everyone was friendly and helpful. Once you're in, it's the opposite. They don't have phone etiquette except the receptionists. The military liaison department forget that this is now a civilian sector. They act tough but no clue what's truly a customer service. Financial aid department is the worst of all. Mean and talk back to you like an unimportant person. If it were not for almost free schooling, I would have chosen a traditional college.

I was an online student at CTU andBrightOther
I was an online student at CTU and things were a real mess. At first everyone seemed to be helpful and friendly but as soon as I got started in classes, things went downhill. The accounting department would be late making adjustments and then change the date on the financial page to make it look like they had done it on time. I had problems in one class with the fact that we had to post our final paper for all our classmates to "help us improve" it before turning it in and someone flat out copy/pasted stole my entire project and nothing was done about it. A majority of my fellow students made incomprehensible posts and discussions were impossible. I was completely current on my payments but wanted to change schools so I transferred to a different school and they refunded more of my financial aid to the government than what was supposed to cover the class I hadn't taken leaving me with a balance that I couldn't pay immediately so they harassed me over the phone asking "Why would you transfer to a new school without paying what you owed to your previous school?" Except I wasn't informed of the balance I would owe until 2 days after the transfer was completed. Speaking of the refunded federal aid money, the government still hasn't received it after 3 months (they had 28 days to return it) and thus I was not allowed to start my new school because my federal aid money was not available to cover my tuition. I could not have had a more horrible experience with a school. If you are looking for an online school to get your degree, steer clear of this one.
