Super Brilliant
Since 2006 I have attended PPCC on and off again. I am just two classes away from my Assoc. of Art degree. Next my plan is to work twords my Assoc. of Applied Science to become an EMT-Paramedic. Meet with your advisor to make sure your on the right path, even if that path is undecided. Faculty members are a resourse to be used for all kinds of questions, so don't be weary. If you begin a class where you feel uncomfortable with the teachers style, just switch to another class before it's too late. I have enjoyed clubs, and being involved in study groups that is how I stay active to get the best grades. The Math Labs, and writing center are fantastic places to just sit while doing homework. Eating on campus has always been interesting, because there isn't much good food to choose from.

Quite Bright
There is not enough time in the world to express the frustration I feel when the mention of PPCC comes up in a conversation. I wasted 4 years of my adult life at this college and I'm getting older by the second. So, one might ask why not switch or just leave the college? I did. I went to UCCS for 2 semesters. The experience was borderline. I had 2 good teachers. The cost was too expensive so I switched back to PPCC because they are the only other (affordable) college in Colorado Springs. Trust me if there were another college that was just as affordable I'd jump on it in a heartbeat. In my first year there I took a Biology class. I scored high in my class on all projects. My final grade was a D. I brought this issue to the department heads. They mysteriously could not locate this instructor who resigned shortly afterwards. So my grade remained unchanged. On all of my online courses my final grades have been a B or higher. That's because they couldn't see me. In person, my grades always suffered. Curious. Hmmm. Financial aid is a joke. If you're waiting on it to aid you with your personal bills or pay rent, you WILL get evicted or grow cobwebs on your person waiting for financial aide to provide you a refund.

What I don't understand is how they forget that it's the students money. The student is responsible for paying back the government. So, what gives with the hold up?My son just graduated from high school. I would NEVER recommend that he attend PPCC. His mind would be a terrible thing to waste there.

Not so bright
I have been going to PPCC for 3 years, on and off. There is not one aspect of my schooling that they have not screwed up. I have had absolutely NO help in fixing these issues. I worked on these problems for six months until I just gave up and transferred to CTU.
