I was very happy after compeleting a year at this university. I got good grades/ was able to get a good education while being able to enjoy life! I feel like many people have negative comments about this school simply because they say "everyone just wants to get drunk/high and if you dont they your screwed" well I have never smoked in my life and was never even pressured to in Boulder, and the people are not judgemental at all! There is a variety of people there and its hot hard to find friends who have the same intrests as you, everyone is out to making friends and everyone is friendly. The people are also smart! I felt like I was surrounded by more intelligent people in my life in Boulder then I have ever before. Boulder the city is BEAUTIFUL, which is one of the main reasons why I decided to go here, and there are so many things to do! From hiking, biking, climbing, swimming, there are shopping centers and many exquisite resourants, and the music scene is great there! There isnt really anyone who I wouldnt recomment this university to. Ones who try to find faults will, and those who simply enjoy themselves and look at the positives and are outgoing people, Boulder will be a good place for you.

I completely disliked the atmosphere of this university. I expected more from the students and the faculty. (Way too many were fake or close-minded). Too many students were focused on the party life-style, which is fine, but, it made it difficult to find individuals with self-respect, or people with respect for others. There also was a lack of a sense of community in the dorms, the classroom, and out in town. It seemed like too many people were out for themselves, being discourteous and not very appreciative for what others do. There also seemed to be alot of attitude of individuals believing there were better than others. As for the praise this school has received for having an excellent Environmental Program, there seemed to be alot people talking the talk but not walking the walk. I cant say it's like that for people who were actually apart of the environmental program, and in the classes that pertained to it, but i definitely saw too many fakers.Oh yeah, and one last thing, the Psychological Staff both at Wardenburg and the C4C don't genuinely care about any of their patients.
