 | Quite Bright | I love CU. When I first arrived on campus it was kind of intimidating - but I think that's true for any college campus and any new freshman. I found my group of friends through my classes, NOT sororities like I thought I would have to. People are really open minded and like having fun, but the classes aren't a joke. I know so many people who blew off classes and are now failing. If you choose to come here, be willing to meet and talk to new people and get out of your comfort zone! You live in Boulder!! There's interesting people around every corner | Education Quality: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: C+ | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Boulder is obviously a gorgeous school, you really can't get much better in terms of scenery. However, I came from out-of-state prepared to have the time of my life, but have definitely been a little let down. In my opinion, the party scene is NOTHING like it's told to be. The frats are not that great. If you're a freshman guy, be prepared to be rejected from entering any of them. Some people I've met in Boulder have been the nicest people in the world. Others have been the rudest. The stereotype about rich unfriendly people is unfortunately a little bit true. The easiest place for you to find stuck up girls is probably in the Greek system. And this is a completely unbiased opinion because I am PART of the Greek system. Even though a lot of the girls are rich and snooty, some of them will be the sweetest people ever. If you're considering rushing, choose your house wisely. I've met a ton of bitches outside the Greek life too....overall its a beautiful school. its in a great place and even though the party scene is WAY overrated, its still fun and there's stuff to do. if you love skiing, snowboarding, and long boarding, you will be at a school where 95% of the people share that interest!! there are some amazing people there, but not everyone is friendly and approachable. kids go hard too. MIPs are passed out like candy. girls tend to be easy. frats guys tend to have girlfriends they cheat on. but its a chill place. i just want to warn you not to get your hopes up on this place if you're coming from out-of-state like me! definitely go over your options a few more times! the out of state tuition is honestly NOT worth it if you're deciding between CU and a good in-state school! but remember, no matter where you go, college is mostly what you make of it and in a school of 30000 people, you're going to find people like you no matter what! | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Education Quality: D | | | |

| | Quite Bright | Okay, honestly.. This school is beautiful. The campus and buildings are outstanding. But really- it seems to me all the kids here are rich Nd wasting their parents money on drugs and alcohol. Every weekend multiple lids would be taken out of the dorm from alcohol poisoning. It's a complete mess there. Everyone I met there thinks they are cool because they live in boulder. It's so silly. Upper level classes definitely have better teachers but I think other schools would be better. It definitely is a 'scene' out there and if you don't want to be a part of it, don't go. If you do, and realize how stupid it is.. Get out while you can! Drugs, dubstep, alcohol poisoning, and sex. That's boulder, and it's not that great. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Individual Value: D- | | | |
