Quinnipiac is an amazing school. I get frustrated when people say its 'snobby', there are snobby people at every school. The faculty is so helpful, and there are so many options for extraciricular activites. The school is very up and comming and I highly recommend it. I was comfortable from the second I got to campus, and didn't want to leave for the summer.

Quinnipiac has a growing reputation in the northeast and is rapidly expanding. If you notice, people with joke majors (communications, english)who are in no way competitive and will have no significance in their lifetime, do not think that their programs were/are effective. I feel that I received a great education here at Quinnipiac, since my major is challenging and worthwhile. Many business majors graduating this year have signed their employment contracts with numerous Fortune 500 companies. To be honest, there are many people here who just do not care about excelling in academics, and are content with simply passing their classes with a below average grades. This only helps those who put in the effort and receive above average grades. (class rank is a determining factor for both employment and especially graduate school admissions) The most actively recruited major out of the school of business is accounting, so if you are planning on a career in accounting, Quinnipiac is a great place to get your education.

I am a Biology major going on the Pre-Med track. The campus as a whole is beatiful landscape with many different personalities. The students, sans the snooty rich white kids, are for the most part amazingly friendly and open people. Faculty, though sometimes very hard to meet with person to person, can easily be contacted via e-mail and are very helpful when you get a hold of them. Nightlife is fun, you have to take a 15 minute shuttle ride to get to the clubs, but it's free to Quinnipiac students and is very easy to access. Definately has some problems with the people that come here in regards to being sheltered and unknowing of how mean they can really be, but this is not overall apparent everywhere. I would definately suggest this university as a top choice, as it's challenging and rigorous, yet at the same time fun and relaxed when necessary.
