I like it here.Quite BrightCriminal
I like it here...at first i didnt and i wanted out my first semester but i stuck through it and now i really enjoy it. yes its not in the most busy part of the state and yes its small but thats what i wanted in a school. cj is slowly building up the teachers are absolutly wonderful in cj and are so resourceful and willing to help. it is slightly pricy as well but its a beautiful campus and well worth it, especially if u think about how the University of New Haven costs the same and its a total dump. i would dfeintly recomend SHU. and while ur at it if ur a female join the rowing team!!!

Question
When I first got into Sacred Heart ISuper BrilliantEnglish
When I first got into Sacred Heart I didn't want to go because frankly, it wasn't well known. To me that was important at the time. Now, well now I don't want to leave. I would never dream of transferring. It's such a great environment. I feel it's small enough that you don't feel overwhelmed but large enough that you can still meet new people all the time. The small size means smaller classes, which means more attention from teachers [good or bad depending on who you are ;)] Overall, it's not the best school...yes there are drawbacks...but you're going to find disadvantages and disappointments anywhere you go. Nothing and nowhere is perfect. But this school really tries its hardest to make you feel accepted, wanted, intelligent, and to make sure you have a fantastic time outside of the classroom. Oh, last thing...if you are offered to enroll in the Honors Program...do it. It's not a significant amount of work (in fact I think I often have less work than many of my others friends) and the perks are great (eg: they pay for airfare if you choose to study abroad).

Question
I spent 1yr on campus and 3yrs communityQuite BrightComputer Science
I spent 1yr on campus and 3yrs community from home. This school has many on campus events every week to make sure there is always something to do. If you don't want to participate there are several bars and clubs nearby. If you want to visit NYC it's only a short train ride away.

The campus is ALWAYS being renovated, which is nice, some of the classrooms are dated in terms of seating (old highschool style desks) but the school is always clean, and the cleaning crew is always working.

The staff at the school is extremely helpful and always willing to work with you to help fix anything that's wrong. The deans are EXTREMLEY approachable some even teach classes!

I have been very happy at SHU and I'm proud to say I'm graduating with a BS in CS from SHU.If you want to attend a school where the professors will know your name, and provide personal attention and help then this is the school for you.
