I spent one year at the university and it was not a very pleasant experience. The school is not located in a nice area and UB, the dorms are not good, and the school does not have a good reputation. The school was rescued from a financial crisis by Reverend Moon's Unification Church about 16 or 17 years ago. Most people believe that Rev. Moon runs a cult. His followers believe that he is the Messiah. He also calls himself the true father. Many people believe this is strange and so do I. Nobody ever approached me to join this "religion," but for me just attending a school that has close ties to this "religion" is creepy. Please do not come here. You will most likely regret it and will transfer out of here. About 50% or more freshmen do not return for sophomore year and I was one of them. That tells you that most people are not happy at the University of Bridgeport. If you want a great college experience, then do not come here!
