I urge anyone who is considering this university to forget about it. I spent one year at the university and it was not a very pleasant experience. The school is not located in a nice area and UB, the dorms are not good, and the school does not have a good reputation. The school was rescued from a financial crisis by Reverend Moon's Unification Church about 16 or 17 years ago. Most people believe that Rev. Moon runs a cult. His followers believe that he is the Messiah. He also calls himself the true father. Many people believe this is strange and so do I. Nobody ever approached me to join this "religion," but for me just attending a school that has close ties to this "religion" is creepy. Please do not come here. You will most likely regret it and will transfer out of here. About 50% or more freshmen do not return for sophomore year and I was one of them. That tells you that most people are not happy at the University of Bridgeport. If you want a great college experience, then do not come here!

Now that i am approaching my senior year please notice that no matter where you go to school it is all about MAKING THE BEST OUT OF THE SITUATION....of course the school definitely has some things on work on but to be honest my education has not been effected by the conditions of the residential halls. chances are NO UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE is going to live up to every standard you have. bottom line i continued to stay at the school because as a design major my professors have definitely helped me develop my skills to tackle the job market and be able to compete with other ivy league design schools.

am not scared to represent my school UBBBBB KNOOOOOOO...
