Ryerson is perceived as a school for rejects, but their design programs are phenomenal. Their interior design program was ranked one of the top 3 interior design schools worldwide (alongside Rhode Island School of Design and Parsons)
>Very challenging & practical programs
>Located in the heart of downtown Toronto
>Relatively small class sizes after 1st year.
>Lots of scholarships given for academic excellence Negatives: >Lack of library resources >Somewhat low school spirit
The campus is fairly small, which I love. And is situated just a 5 minute walk from Downtown Toronto, therefore there is always something to do. All of my teachers speak English as a first language and are very personable. Program is competitive but worth getting into. Overall love my experience at Ryerson so far.
