Unbelievable. I'm in the School of Foreign Service here (probably majoring in International Politics with a concentration in National Security and a certificate in Justice and Peace) and I am in LOVE with Georgetown. My peers are just as intelligent as my professors, and classes often become "mini debates" with students challenging professors' ideas and vice-versa. My National Security Law teacher works with National Security Advisor Condoleeza Rice in the White House and then comes to campus to teach. Where else in the world do undergraduate students have such powerful/influential/successful instructors as freshmen? As I said earlier: unbelievable.

Super Brilliant
The best thing about Georgetown is its location. The campus is absolutely beautiful. You don't feel like you're in a city at all, but you have the entire city in just a 10 minute walk down the street. As for the school itself, there are definitly a lot of snobby, rich kids, but there are A LOT of really nice, down to earth people. There is always something going on around campus and the social scene here is great. Everyone should come to Georgetown!!

Classes are usually large despite what the literature says. Government, IR, and pre-med are really the only good majors. However, the science facilities are severely lacking. The gym is also an eyesore with no air conditioning and poor equipment. Being in the library is absolutely depressing. The schools small endowment really shows in regard to facilities and new infrastructure. Too much pseudo-intellectualism among students here. Students generally accept what the profs say as Gospel, doesn't seem to be too much questioning going on.
