In my four-years of undergrad, there was never a dull-moment. Between schoolwork, internships, and all the excitement that Washington D.C. offers, I found GWU to provide a very well-rounded college experience. A lot of wealthy kids go here but I agree with prior reviews, if you give it a little time, you can meet interesting, friendly people. By second semester you usually find your niche. The faculty is amazing and this year was the absolute best time to be in DC! The students are not afraid to party but are also very serious about their academics and internships. There is no better place to study then at GW and in DC. It's also the perfect balance between good academics and a great social and cultural life. Yes, there are some but this is the case at most private, expensive universities. You will attract friendly, non pretentious students if you seek them out.
