I can really only speak for my program (the Master of Art in Teaching with a specialization in Elementary Ed.). I wasn't so sure about Trinity's reputation or competitiveness when I applied here for grad school, mainly because I had never heard of it. But as for the Master's program I can honestly say this is a good program if you want to become a teacher. They require that you have passing praxis 1 scores (for secondary education praxis 2 as well) to even apply, which surprisingly many other well known programs don't. You must past comprehensive exams in order to do your student teaching. The comps are set up to help you on Praxis 2 so they recommend you do things in this order. I think this is a good example of how this program doesn't cut corners and really prepares you to teach. It is really worth the time and money if you want to get your teaching credential.

Education
I am in the MSA with a specialization in Organizational Development program. I am currently 4 classes away from graduation. As a graduate student at Trinity University I have enjoyed my program. My professors are knowledgeable. They also have an understanding of the subject matter and field experience.
My undergraduate education came from a small, prestigious, liberal arts university in Connecticut. I will note that the two institutions are like night and day. However, I can say that this university does have quality accelerated graduate programs that cater to working adults and their schedules. Also, just like any university you will find varing levels of student aptitude in your classes.
