When I apply for jobs as far away as VA, people have laughed at me graduating from DSU. I took about 20 interviews when i got out of college and was not getting called back. So i figured I would call and see if I could find out why. I had two potential employers say it was because of my College Education. They did not feel that DSU produced the level of worker that they wanted. Sadly enough, the guy who interviewed me graduated from Chub - a trade school. I am now working full time and going to school again at UD so that I can actually get a job somewhere. I even attempted to use they resources at DSU for some post college job recommendations... ALL the jobs I was refereed to accepted people with High School Diplomas. That is just embarrassing.I worked hard in my years at DSU and would tell anyone now that it was a waste. So to a school that people respect and stay FAR FAR away from DSU. They are a Joke, they probably will be for many years to come. It was a terrible decision coming here. The professors don't care, the students are stuck up preppy bitches, the gym sucks, the food sucks,and administration doesn't care about anything but getting a paycheck. I failed out of this school. I tried at first but the professors were awful and didn't seem to care so I cared less and less. Eventually I stopped going to class and ended up with a 0.25 gpa. I know it wasn't completely the fault of the university and that it was a matter of maturity for me but the school did not help my transition at all. The office of first year experience is a joke. I hate loyola so much I won't even dignify its name with a capital l. Now that I have sufficiently screwed myself for transferring again, I have no idea what to do. Also, loyola said that if you mess up your first semester you will have another semester to try again... That was BS! If you like to be around a bunch of preppy white rich bitches who think that they are the only thing in the world that matters, you like professors who don't care about you, and you hate good food then this shithole is the place for you! :D If you are normal, however, don't waste your 45k at loyola. If you want to be in Chicago then go to UIC, DePaul, NWU, or UChicago. I am white by the way. I just can't stand preppy white bitches and douchebag guys.
