This school is not the most friendly or professional, but as a returning student I am pleasantly surprised. They offered me a generous financial aid package and I find the overall attitude to be better than when I previously attended in 2008. It is not my dream school, but it will provide an education and that is what matters most.

I love my experience at DSU. Throught the help of career services and the counseling department I had an offer of employment with JP Morgan Chase before my senior year even began. Any school can be labeled as a party school, but if you don't want to party, you don't have to. The faculty gives students plenty of opportunity to get a great education and it is up to the students to take it. The key to a successful college career is a balance between school work, social life, and maybe a job as well. It can be done and DSU can and does give students a great shot at success. It's all about choices.
Education Quality: A+, Perceived Campus Safety: C

Super Brilliant
College helped me by surrounding me with like individuals to help motivate me to succeed. It was a wonderful networking opportunity! The one on one attention and guidance of the professors really helped mold me into the strong and knowledgeable woman I am today. I had a great deal of creative input at the university where I could start my own organizations and well as pilot my own unique programs. It taught me a great deal about learning to interact with the different people we are to meet in society.
