I can honestly say i love this school! I met a solid group of friends on my floor with my same major and we all get along great! The people are so friendly here! For parties, it is sometimes a walk to get to them and sometimes they are really crowded.. but dont get me wrong they are fun and have good dance music. Going out to frat parties is fun but honestly get involved in the school spirit! Football, basketball, and volleyball games are great to go to! You can go with friends and have an awesome time and cheer on the school! Especially if you dont want to go out and get drunk that night, it is a great alternative!Football games are the bes because you can tailgate and i have met some of my close friends there! Now for schoolwork, it really depends on major. With nursing, i find myself not going out as much as other majors. But i still manage to have a social life and have fun! Most of my freshman classes were huge, so it is a good idea to make yourself known to your professor and talk to them in person. As for the school overall, it is an awesome school! I couldnt see myself any where else. I know the education i am getting is a really distinguished one and i will be able to utilize it in the future. Come to this school you will not regret it! There are genuinely nice people here, the campus is beautiful, the school spirit is great, and the parties are awesome. GO BLUE HENS!

Average
Lot of different classes available to take, but sometimes not at convenient times.
It is great that there is a bus system but they seem to have a lot of problems keeping on time or breaking down.

The professors are friendly, but sometimes arrogant.
Party scene is -- I guess -- college average. Fun at first, but then everyone finds their own niche.

I feel safe on campus, and I think town problems stay in the town while campus issues stay on campus -- for better or worse.

Love seeing the multi-media in the classrooms, but it seems to be rather complicated at times, and differs from classroom to classroom so the professors are made to feel like idiots sometimes.Sports scene is nice....The students have school spirit, however the university, while talking that up, doesn't follow through with support for campus-wide participation, except touting any news stories about the teams.

The faculty members are more into research, but are friendly when you get a hold of them. The administration is out of touch with students.
