Bethune Cookman University is a great University. It was built on tradition and heritage and still is today. the facilities are not as up to date as some of the other near by colleges like Embry Riddle or daytona state but that doesnt matter. the school was founded in 1902, ofcourse its going to be old. they are trying to instill the heritage of Dr.Mary Mcleod Bethune so some of the buildings are really old but they are maintained. i hate when people complain that its to much partying and what not, if you didnt come to school to party then dont!!! im not the type of person to go parting every weekend either, so you know what? i mind my own business and keep to myself because i know what have i have to do to graduate on time.Yes, there are alot of party animals at Cookman but what College doesnt? its just a part of being in college. most of the teachers are great and very helpful. the dorms are not all that great but, thats life, deal with it. after your first semester you can move off campus. the extracurricular activities are great and there is something for everybody to be part of. were right next to daytona beach and theres lots of night life.

in closing just come with a good attitude. Cookman may not be the best University but Cookman has something alot of colleges dont is thats a sense of family and heritage that most wont get out college. As long as you come with an openmind and heart you will succeed.

Super Brilliant
as graduating sr. I strongly advice you not to attend this university. What you pay to go to the school is now what you get out. The people working here do not help you leave or get ready for life after school, or work. People that go to cookman stay around cookman. I personally noticed this.
