 | Quite Bright | I am a former P.A who wants to follow a different career path, Psychology. I registered at CAU and love attending my classes. From the Professors to everyone involved in this organization I have only encountered very professional individuals of multi-ethnical background. They master the english language and other languages as well. Now before registering at CAU it must be taken in consideration that this is a multi-ethnical institution, preparing professionals for a multi-cultural global experience, one that tolerates and respects culture diversity. Anyone with social phobia or prejudice should not get involved in this institution. Stay in the monolingual universities, under a rock, pretending this the real world, while only very wealthy Americans travel abroad trying to enrich their cultural experience. Miss out the opportunity to enrich yourself culturally by denying CAU's opportunity .Culture diversity is their core foundation .It is the best little secret in Miami, what a brilliant idea. Another important point to remember all professors are licensed as Psy D's or PHD's , Masters , yes multi -lingual instructors who offer small size classes , who instruct individuals not numbers. Yes holding state licenses, because of their credentials. I can only see ignorance can lead to these prejudice comments about this great institution. Great people with, great knowledge are found all over the world, and just because someone may have an accent in english or any other language does not mean they are uneducated, just more self realized and able to deal with a Global economy. Remember diversity is beautiful, and Globalization is the inevitable turn the world is taking, take part of it, become someone with all the tools needed to compete. | Education Quality: A+, Extracurricular Activities: C+ | | | |

| | | | I find it funny how these fake students are writing positive comments about this pathetic school. Only losers go to this school that cannot get accepted into top graduate programs. Look at their admission page. They do not even require a GRE score which all top graduate programs in psychology require. CAU states their MS in I/O is third in the nation??? Based off of what? Fake student?s opinions. As we see on this website many of the students who post these positive comments are not even students. The top I/O psychology programs as of 2009 are at this link http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-psychology-schools/industrial-organizational-psychology CAU doesn?t event make the list! Graduate programs in I/O Psychology ranked by US News are based on psychology department chairs judgments of program reputation. The three factors that are used to rate the programs are number of I-O faculty in a program serving on editorial boards, the number of faculty publications, and total student conference presentations. What?s the average number of applicants applying to this school? Not many. Maybe that?s why you don?t require a GRE. You don?t have a large enough pool of applicants to screen out. What type of I/O research does CAU do? Does CAU even conduct research? Probably not If you live in Florida and what to go to a good school that offers a real psychology degree go to UCF, USF, FIU, UM,UF, FIT, and NOVA. If you follow this link you would see that CAU was not even ranked by US news. http://rankings.usnews.com/best-colleges/san-juan-pr/carlos-albizu-university-10724/@@Academics_overview.html | Preparedness: -, Reputation: - | | | |

| | Bright | I love my school overall...As a master's student i dont really care about extracurricular activities because I dont have time for that; but as far as my classes and my professors I am very satistied with them. Most of my professors are extremely professional and smart and most pf the teach from a "real world" perspective which I love. | Campus Maintenance: A, Extracurricular Activities: D- | | | |
