I received my undergraduate degree from Bethune-Cookman Univ

Feb 22 2011History/Histories (art history/etc.)
I received my undergraduate degree from Bethune-Cookman University in Spring of "09" and was accepted to Florida A&M University as a graduate student on a full scholarship (Thanks to the Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Chanta Haywood) in Summer of "09". Wonderful institution to pursue a post-graduate education. I was enrolled at FAMU for only one year and it was the most amazing time of my time. I was drawn to the mission and history of success of faculty and graduates at FAMU. The professors are publishing articles, books and book chapters in major journals, are serving on national committees and boards and are winning awards and recognitions as experts in their fields. My professors were very knowledgeable of their field. It is not often I come across educators who are truly passionate about the nature of their profession and go above and beyond to ensure that their students are well educated. The staff of the school of Graduate studies were amazing. They treated me as if I were family. Absolutely no complaints I would definetely do it again if I had to. I cain't wait to be in a position to be a financial supportor of my beloved alma mater...GO FAMU!!! The finest institution in the land. :)

When you hear about people not doing well

Aug 15 2005Pharmacy
When you hear about people not doing well 9 times of out 10 its because THEY did not apply themselves. If you want to get a good education and work for it with professors that will go out of there way to help you then this might be the school. I came for the Pharmacy School which is top notch. Third in the nation in research dollars and we just got a new builing in our school. Pharmacy is a rewarding career, starting out making easily 80,000 to maybe 140,000. I have friends in the Business and Nursing Schools who like those as well. It makes me really mad when people dog black schools just because of the idiots that come here but DON'T GRADUATE. Sure they get in but come to the graduation and see if most of them are still around. NO. But the ones who want to suceed are. Excellence with caring. FAMU wouldn't trade it for anything

Don't take bernier for any law class whatsoever. She doesn't have a clue what she is talking about.
