The school upon first look is beautiful. Sunshine and Palm trees. Soon after coming here, i realized it is a cheap sham. Both the campus and the social life. the frats and sororities are unwelcoming and very clichey, so even if you wanted to be in one, good luck with that. However, if you are not in one, good luck making friends. I transferred here this past fall from TN, even though i am orginially from north florida. Worst deicision i ever made. Yes it is cheaper as i am now in state, but the money is not worth it because this school sucks. It is very clichey, so as a transfer, it is hard to fit in. Even as a normally social person, no one here is open. It is not a diverse campus, and the only thing to do is drink and get high, which there is a lot of. Fort Meyers has NOTHING to do as a young adult. Its all old people, and even the beaches are mediocre, even if you normally love the beach. the community hates the college students and are very stingy when you are out in public. The sports here suck. The womens is ok, but the mens is a joke. even if you are a very atheltic person, good luck getting onto any of the teams. If you are a seterotypical dude who likeshaving sex with loose women, getting drunk, high, and just messing around, this is a good school for you. If you are a guy who is interested in more than that, dont waste your money even applying here. You will not find people like you, and you will not find girls interested in you. You will waste atleast 5 years of your life here cause no one graduates on time.

A majority of professionals were anything but professional. Sadly, these so called professionals were in the Psychology and Education Departments. The bulk of the unprofessionalism rested in the Psychology arena.

HIPAA Privacy Rights do not matter at this school! Do not use any of their medical services: CAPS or Wellness. This school desperately needs to remove directors, administration, and Deans that are in the above deparments/services in order to solve a lot of the above and current problems.

I transferred here after attending school in anotherBrightPsychology
I transferred here after attending school in another state for 2 years. I feel very confident in saying that this school is pretty awful (at least compared to the other school I attended). The staff is in definitely incompetent. The teachers mostly suck, and the classes were extremely boring and unstimulating. Registering for classes was a nightmare. The students are pretty unintelligent overall. I believe most of them are in-state, so it's no wonder that they're not intelligent because Florida has an awful public education system. If you consider yourself a smart person that doesn't easily tolerate bullsh*t, then I suggest you don't attend this school.
