 | Bright | Too many professors that are punching the clock and are not really interested in whether or not students learn. too many professors that don't speak English well. | Campus Aesthetics: A, Education Quality: D | | | |

| | Bright | Great school. Over the years it has grown so much. To think this University began in 1991 is truly amazing. If you are looking to party, do not come here. Admissions is getting a lot more selective. | Education Quality: A+, | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | I wanted to make a note for those looking for a party college: FGCU is not a party college. But that's a good thing. You can still go to parties... believe me, if you want to party, you'll find a way to party. Just because you aren't at a party school, or in a "party" town, does not mean you can't have a damn good time every weekend (or every night if you wanted to) I transferred to FGCU after I was assaulted at another private college campus, which happened to be a party school. My first semester of college consisted of me dealing with student affairs, dealing with the dean, and going to court. And it was very, very obvious that they just wanted more money from me. So I left. So if you're looking to party, ask yourself: is this a place that lines up with my values, my goals, and that still allows me to have a good time, and experience new things? If you're only considering the party factor like I did, you will walk away with a lot of damage. I transferred to FGCU, and it as a great decision. It is a safe campus. And I mean VERY safe campus. I felt like I could approach anyone, talk to people, meet people after class, go on road trips, and just have a good time. I ended up spending a lot of time working towards my professional growth, which did come at a cost... I had to sacrifice a lot of time during my last 2 years at FGCU on internships, jobs, networking and building relationships with professionals. I can deal with that, though. It put me in a very good place. I only wish I was more involved in student activities. There were a lot of times where I found myself bored or depressed when I could have been more involved on campus and meeting more people. | Education Quality: A+, Useful Schoolwork: C | | | |
