Teachers are arrogant and detached. Online class course work is ridiculous in volume based upon credit hours earned. Would not recommend this college to anyone!

Considering the amount of people in my program, I would have thought the program director would have had time to learn our names within the 2 years. Instead, she looks at us like she's never meet us before.

The instructors have to ask for approval before they make any decisions. If a test grade gets lost in the system don't expect to get it back or retake it, apparently it takes too long to retake a 10min quiz.>that was my first test in the program, it was foreshadowing for what I should expect.

One of the instructors (notice I don't call them professors) was still working on her masters while facilitating our classes, she barely made time to help us after class, she was never in her office during the posted times and she constantly contradicted herself during lectures. The paper we had to write for her pathology was a total waste of time. Every other week we had to do busy work for class and turn in nonsense for 10 points, when the actual paper was being written she would only look at the rough draft (and only a few pages, she didn't want to read after that). She was giving us false information on APA style writing and then telling us we were wrong when we followed her instructions. She also doesn't care about keeping your personal life situations private. She will come up to you during class and ask you about it...with others still sitting around you!(makes me wonder if she did this with her patients as well) She will also ask you "what happened?!" when you don't get a grade you normally do(mind you, she will blurt it out loud while others are still testing) Very unprofessional.

I feel that this program needs better professors, the people they have now are facilitators, they read straight from a PowerPoint and some can't elaborate past that. For the amount of money we pay to go here, we should have top notch professors. They also give some of the professors too many courses to juggle, they should just hire more people. Also, most of the instructors have moved on to other modalities, they haven't taken an x-ray in years....Shouldn't we be learning from professionals in our own field?

The program director is nice and all but she has no business in a classroom, I think she only teaches one class a year to keep her license active. They give her a difficult subject which all she does is read from the ppt. This program cause me so much stress I had several anxiety attacks throughout the 2 years, mostly brought on by the disorganized nature of the university financial aid.

Also, they expect you to have your own transportation to the clinic sites, which obviously you need your own gas...but they recommend you don't work during you time in the program. So, I guess you have to magically come up with tuition, gas, and living expenses all while spending most of your time at this school or studying for the next exam. If you do work, you will not have time to study and your grades will suffer...but remember all you have to do is pass, it doesn't matter if your an A student or a C student.

The course schedule is pretty straight forward, so you don't "choose" anything. They don't allow you to take courses that will help your future career, only ones that will help during the program. Also, keep up with your own credits, the advisor (one of your instructors will double as this) will wait until the 2nd half of the final semester to remind you that you still need a credit in a religion course. He will never meet with you to find out how you are doing, but will expect you to handle your own schedule.I do not recommend coming to ADU for Radiography. The instructors will tell you that your time in clinical is a two year interview. The hospital prefers techs with experience, so expect to move out of the area. Don't expect to find work after graduation. Unless you kiss a lot of ass while in clinical or they really like you (it's all about who you know). The hospitals will lie to you too, they will lead you on so that you do free labor for them and there will not be a position waiting for you when you graduate. Don't believe any job offers until you have sat down with HR and it's official. If you really want to go into this profession consider a different institution, it may take longer to get in but you may have a better shot at a career when you get out.

2nd Year Female -- Class 2013

Florida Hospital College got the meanest staffs in the campus. They are very unhelpful especially at the enrollment services office. If your last name begins with A-H, you will be handled by Natasha Castro. If your last name begin with those letters, please do not attend the college at all because she is not helpful. If you have questions for her, she will not answer her direct line and would not answer your your emails and voicemails. I have contacted her several times and I'm done!!! I tried making appointment, and she was mean and did nOT answer my questions. Financial aid, advising, and registration office, I have a little help from them, but it was very poor. I expected to be treated well knowing they are super expensive school, but I guess other students are right about them being racist and stereotyping students. Even a couple of graduates from their school don't recommend this school for me because they said the teacher are not great as well. They are only nice to their favorite students. What if you are not? Attend to other schools. You deserve better education than attending this Adventist university. This school needs to learn proper values first before offering religion class.
