This is an amazing school.BrightNursing
This is an amazing school. It is a difficult program with high expectations, high grading score system and a hardcore curriculum. I wouldn't expect any less since as a nurse we will have our patient's lives in our hands. I want to be the best nurse I can be and this university offers that.

Now regarding what some people wrote about being discriminated because of tattoos is not true. I say this because I have over 18 tattoos in visible places as well as facil piercings and I am a second semester nursing student. The school has all the information regarding acceptance in the school as well as in there different programs ie GPA, background checks, immunizations etc. Every college and university has these type of requirements for a nursing program. As an adult you are required to read and understand requirements before you apply and waste your time. No school will hold your hand through these processes.

I hope this sheds some light for anyone thinking about going to this university. It is a great school. Yes it is expensive but I believe it is worth every penny! Good luck ;)

I have a master's degree in a different field, 20 years work experience, and made a career change. FHCHS is pricey and typical of most colleges when it comes to getting the occasional runaround. You are going to do it their way or hit the highway. You also should be very self-driven to study a lot during your free time if you expect to get A's. Some prerequisite courses are busy work and A's are very achievable. But you will need to buckle down once you enter the nursing program. I recommend 2 hours of study for every hour of class time. If you are a low B to C student, YOU WILL NOT make it through the nursing program here. This is not a place for half steppers and if you don't study you shouldn't waste your time or money. The Campus is clean, modern, and not the ghetto scene you find at most community college campuses in and around Orlando. It is faith-based so you will be required to take religion classes. If you respect people's beliefs and go with the flow nothing will be crammed down your throat.

Question
The school is great.Quite BrightPreMed and Medical
The school is great. You learn a lot and even though they do not guarantee you a job at Florida Hospital, I have found that there is a place for everyone. Some programs are crazy competitive and others are normal. This is a great school if you know exactly what you want and are not afraid to work for it.
