 | Quite Bright | The Biscayne Bay campus is very old, except for Hospitality and Management division. Faculty staff is OK, non-faculty staff is appalling! If you can avoid it, don't use their bookstore. If you love music, you will enjoy their very powerful loudspeaker everyday. Afterall, it's Miami, what do you expect? | Surrounding City: B+, Education Quality: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | As a kid from a small town in Wisconsin (Eau Claire), I never thought I would enjoy myself in a cosmopolitan city like Miami. Boy, was I wrong. Coming here to FIU here in Miami was THE BEST decision I have ever made. Not only are the classes here challenging enough to effectively prepare me for my career goals, but this college opened my eyes to new cultures and new experiences that I have never felt in the small town I grew up in. I have met very nice Cuban, Colombian, and Venezuelan kids, as well as some European and Asian kids; I never knew I would have so much in common with them! What is also good about FIU is the food. No, not the food in the dorms (which sucks by the way), but the food served at the restaurants around the campus. You have your choice: Cuban (my favorite), Mexican, Indian, even Nicaraguan food! Talk about diversity. FIU is more than just an ordinary college; it is an EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME. Diversity and education are FIU's greatest strengths, and FIU uses these strengths to educate its students to become well-rounded, goal-seeking individuals. I am so glad I made the trek down to Miami, Florida to attend school here. I can truly say I am proud to be an FIU GOLDEN PANTHER!!! | Useful Schoolwork: A+, Faculty Accessibility: B | | | |

| | Bright | FIU is a good school. It has great business and engineering programs. The only thing that I didnt like about the school is that it is a commuter school. Things have really changed this semester with the new football team. Things are alright. Its not a party school, but the night life in Miami is worth it. Its a little expensive, but if you look on the web for free pass to the clubs on south beach...youre good to go! And if you like spanish girls...(think JLO or the girl from Dark Angel) Ladies: Spanish guys (think of enrique or ricky) The school is a fashion show I must say...everyone looks like they're going to a club. But it makes the day very enjoyable. | Campus Aesthetics: A+, Individual Value: C | | | |
