Positive Negative Neutral Advice
After high school, going
After high school, going to a jr. college is the best thing to do. It gives you a chance to adjust to being in a college environment and prepares you for continuing your education at a major university.

Question
When I was recruited by the FMU FortAccounting
When I was recruited by the FMU Fort Lauderdale campus admissions department in late 1999 through early 2000, I was told that I could complete my MBA with an accounting concentration in one year at the Fort Lauderdale campus. I was also assured that by the time of my graduation FMU would have their regional accreditation.

The above profession advice and assurance proved false. I was force to travel from the Fort Lauderdale campus to the Clearwater campus (three to four hours each way, depending on traffic) three nights per week, over several terms to complete my course of study, which lasted longer than one year.

While trying to cope with the frustration of the Fort Lauderdale campus not having the courses I needed and traveling back and forth to the Clearwater campus desperately trying to complete my degree, FMU decided to stop pursuing their regional accreditation.

Needless to say, the substantial increase in stress, travel expense, time, and lost opportunity increased the cost of my FMU education. The school's decision to stop pursuing their regional accreditation substantially diminished the actual value of my MBA.
