 | Quite Bright | Any school is what you make of it. FSU was an amazing experience for me and I attribute my success to working hard and to what I learned at Florida State. Some of the classes are large, but any university with more than 15,000 students will be that way. I also had junior and senior level courses that had fewer than 15 students. All in all, FSU is an unbeatable value. You can get a top notch education for a 1/4 of what you would pay at a private univeristy. Take advantage of the social scene (it is college afterall), but don't let your priorities get out of whack. Study hard and party hard - you'll find the EXACT same formula applies in "the real world"! | Scholastic Success: A+, Perceived Campus Safety: B- | | | |

| | Quite Bright | A university is only as good as the student makes it. You can take hard courses, and challenge yourself, or you can take the easy way out. Students can get involved in extracurricular activities, greek life, and athletics. The college experience is left up to the student. | Education Quality: A+, Collaboration/Competitive: B | | | |

| | Quite Bright | parking is absolutely rediculous, I have waited as long as a hour and 15 min for parking spot, and it does not get any better than that. The campus is cluttered with construction everywhere, it seems like they start a project, half do it for a while, slow down on it, and start 5 more projects, so the whole campus is littered with comstruction projects. It could be a pretty campus, but not for a long long time. This university also loves to spend money on everything that has nothing to do with academics, The buildings are falling apart in many places, there are not enough rooms to satisfy the needs of the departments, example: I have a French class in the ROTC building because the Modern Languages Building ran out of space. and ther are several language classes in the ROTC building. THe Dorms on Campus are horrible also, the one I stayed in, Kellum Hall, was like a prison cell, or a ghetto project. The elevator hardly ever worked, and when it did, the lights in it were out, there was a puddle of urin in the corner,, and trash all over the place, not to mention grafitti on the walls and wires hanging from the celling. Just atrocious. I was never sick as many times in one year, as I was living in Kellum Hall.By the way, I do not use my university email address, asked for below, I use my hotmail account, cvallowe_ | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Campus Aesthetics: D- | | | |
