I really loved my experience at LSCC. The teachers are easily accessible and insightful. As long as you put in the effort, you will reap the rewards.

Quite Bright
Class sizes are small, and teachers are excellent. I transferred to LSCC and like the classes here way more. The work is hard sometimes, but it's college. That's what should be expected. Teachers also make things interesting, and only assign relevant homework. There are also many opportunities and clubs to get involved in, such as Brain Bowl, SGA, Safire, Phi Theta Kappa, etc. You will get a well rounded education at LSCC!

Bright
I received the best education possible from Lake-Sumter Community College. After transferring to the university, I was surprised at how simple my university classes were in comparison. I had tons of busy work at the university level, but I learned much more from my workload at LSCC. I was also excited to learn that LSCC's math and science department has an excellent reputation among math and science professors at my university. Many of the professors at LSCC have their doctorates, something that is rare at the junior college level. Overall, my classes at LSCC were very enjoyable, and I graduated with my a.a. degree extremely prepared for the four year college!!
Preparedness: B+, Reputation: B+
