I'm a military veteran and have been to several schools (6) due to being constantly transfered. This is by far the worst college I have been to. I'm forced to attend here (Nova is a private school) due to recent changes in the GI Bill. I'm about to graduate this coming semester and I've literally had 2 good professors, the rest were just awful. (Im graduating with a high GPA so I'm not just a disgruntled student, this is an honest review) At least 75% of my instructors could barely speak English, and my guess would be they have online degrees. I literally withdrew from courses during the 1st week because I could not understand a damn word they were saying. Now for the worst part, tuition...I take 6 classes a semester and my tuition is around $14000 each semester. RIDICULOUS..Save yourself the time and money and go to a better and cheaper school. FIU and FAU are close by and are considered to be way better schools at a fraction of the cost...The only positive...the campus and gym are nice Campus Aesthetics: A, Education Quality: F Have a Question? The staff at Nova is what makes this place garbage. Forget about getting the help you need from the financial aid, academic advisors, or any other department. If you need something done, do it yourself or ask another student. Most of the teaching staff are okay. They are better than the support staff, but not by much. All they did was take my money. For the amount of money I paid I could have gone to an Ivy League school. At least I would have had a respectable degree. The instructors suck. The courses are not rigorous. A blindfolded monkey can easily graduate with a 4.O GPA. I later found out the hard way after graduating that NSU has a terrible reputation in academia, especially higher education. I would suggest looking at a good quality public school that is AACSB accredited because NSU is a joke. Preparedness: F, Reputation: F Have a Question?
