Helped or Hurt --
The college helped me in many areas. I married a true Christian woman; met good friends; learned to accept responsibility for my own actions; realized that freedom and privilege requires responsible character.

It also helped me to overcome my difficulty when speaking in front of people.
In some areas, they are behind technologically (at least it was that way when I was a student).
Recommendation for Students --
Know where God wants you to go. Many people want to point out the bad points of PCC; they forget to mention all of the good points. E-V-E-R-Y institution has things that people will not like (I didn't like several rules and procedures).

For example, the next time someone mentions accreditation or no hand-holding, ask them first about campus crime or student pregnancy rates.

Life has many things that we don't like. Maybe some of those inconveniences at PCC are designed to actually prepare students for the real-world.Keep in mind that while many schools are preparing one-dimensional students (only technical knowledge), PCC is preparing multi-dimensional students (technical, social, spiritual).

At PCC, we have an atmosphere that isBrightComputer Science
At PCC, we have an atmosphere that is free of many distractions that other colleges have (tv, blaring radio, etc.) This is not a "party" college. We go to church Sun morning, evening and wed night. (and chapel every day) This college is for committed Christians that want to be the best (whatever major we choose) that we can be. The Sportscenter is available and the beach and sailboats etc. but we will not have as much free time as with other colleges. I choose PCC because I wanted an affordable Christian college with a focus on studies.
