Positive Negative Neutral Advice
St. Johns River State is essentially a communityBrightSociology
St. Johns River State is essentially a community college. Not much of a social place, just somewhere to gain college credits.

I attend the Orange Park campus, which is the largest of the three. However, most of the extracurricular's are located at the Palatka (main) campus which is almost an hours drive away. A for effort on behalf of St. Johns though!

The academic's of this college are pretty good though, and that's what counts the most at a "community" style college.

Applying to attend St. Johns is a real pain. The applications process, which is online, is outdated, messy, and confusing. And getting a person from the admissions/financial aid office on the phone is almost like dinosaurs: non-existent. In conclusion, if someone is looking to get a bare-bones but good education close by, St. Johns is a good school.

Small classes, teachers who genuinely cared about students' success. A great place to do your first two years then transfer to one of Florida's universities.

I am a student in this college.Super BrilliantComputer Science
I am a student in this college. First, staff is very rude and not helpful. Second, they create problems and they want you to solve it. Third and the worst, I got harassed by my professor infront of the class and school did not do anything. I had to withdraw from his class and the school did not even return my money. It is the worst school I have ever been. Shame on them!
