Super Brilliant
Hello. I expected much more than what I paid for, 20,000+ FALL/SPRING Semester. The school isn't horrendous, it is just luke warm. Most of the professors are nice and more easy going than some of the teachers I had in high school. My classes were also much more challenging in high school. My main problem besides feeling like I am in High School, Part II is the student body. There are far too many ghetto kids that just got in here because they took a placement test. I like the small class sizes though.

ppl, dis is the worst f***ing university in the world!!! i neva thought i would be one of these ppl making a negative comment, i thought they were the idlers. This school spirit is so broke, there are only about 3 activities on campus, dats an exaggeration, its about 10 the most. Most of them are either cultural or dumb, i'm not kiddin, i don't even know where to go to find the activities to join. This is the closest thing to hell, i can't wait to get out of this pig hole...warning: do not live on campus, u will die...the food is like vomit, the rooms are smaller than a public bathroom's cubicle and if you don't have a car, don't expect to walk your way around the city, city?? the university is secluded by some dead old tall trees, deep in some rotten jungle...despite the common conception of partying in college, i went to homecoming, to my surprise, only about 20 ppl were at the party, playing latino music and a little reggae...dats wats cool about this school, ppl like reggae..a lot of ppl here are hispanic, dats nothing bad, but since i came in as a freshman in the spring semester, everyone already has their clique and i'm their by myself, i have NO FRIENDS, ppl stick to themselves, the boys (most) are ugly and the girls are either stuck up or something else, dont get me wrong sum ppl are really cool, but more that 90% of the school does not care about their work..i need to get out, right now, i'm in the dorm typing this and i have no regrets, cuz i'm angry at the school for accepting me into their trick, they jus wanna suck in more and more students, they dont care about the students, as long as they have students....so far, onyl one teacher has shown me that their is something good here, she is the best teacher i have ever had in my life...i think this is getting too long, so wrapping it up, a caution to u all: STAY OUT, BEWARE OF STU PENITENTIARY!!!

Super Brilliant
If I was you I would never come to St. Thomas University, There are no jobs on Campus, There is a lot of discrimination going on, Stupid students have As, teachers, are deaf, too old, or assistants, No one ius qualified. This school has no future, more than 50% of the first year transfer to other schools. Don't be fooled by the scholarships, they award it to everyone, Bright or not it doesn't matter to the school, you will never be recognized or awarded something. It's not worth waisting your time. I hope I had had this advice from somebody else before. Your classes are never available, you will take Calculus 1 one semester and take Calculus 2 after another semester. Just to tell you how foolish the curriculum is. Rather go to FIU, where you know you are paying for what you get. This is not a school, it is a farm.

Quite Bright
Faculty,Faculty this is the key to the university. I would never go as far to say this place is great. It is a very samll university 200 on campus residents. The dorms are overpriced and very old. The school spirit is very broken and activites are dead. The most compelling part of this university is the unfettered dedication from the Professors. Of course thier are some who just do not care but for the most part the education is good. The campus is a major let down and the surrounding area is basically - venture out at your own risk. If you do not have a car you are trapped, much like some sick show you invevitabley begin to naw at your frineds. There is always gossip and drama swirling because people really do not have anything better to do outside of thier studies. This is tuff because we all want a good education but at what price? I have been here for a year and have never even seen a beach so do not be fooled into thinking that this Miami school will offer fun in the sun. Oh that reminds me the fitness center is really a basement with reject equipment. The food adds on the pounds but there is no real way to work out. There is ONE treadmill, One stairstepper,One full body motion machine and Two Bikes. I have seen apartments have better gyms and at this day in age for the amount of tuition around 30k when all said and done (on-campus) it is a disgrace. We are only wired in the library so forget being in the 21st century.
Good Luck!
