Snooze snooze snooze(I'm only doing the comments). Look, I was like you. I didn't know how colleges worked. Well, they are like businesses. Every one of them. Don't believe me yet? It's just the truth, even if you don't want to see it yet. |
Stetson breaks down to this, as of today. The faculty are nice, smart, occasionally funny...good! The students are...youll find enough good people. So you'll get over that, ok? The administration is money grubbing-COMPLETELY! But, every college does that so legit go home school yourself if you don't like every college in the world abusing your wallet/loan.
You'll learn, it costs a couple thousand dollars... Lol. But you get over it. Try not to get the details, Stetson is livable. You get the education. Just gloss over every expense 10000 times before you say "ok okay steetson let's go for a whirl"
You'll get good teachers n stuff
ok the dorms suckey-stay in one overnight please because-oh THE TOURS ARE A LIIIIIE (portal reference) it's kinda sad because they are students who I know who are cool but have to feed the ad nauseum.
You'll find friends
You'll have fun
You'll get that education
You can always ask for MORE, but the thing is that I have yet to find a non ivy league in the area who has all the beach, theme park, palm trees like here. Haha... If you only knew. You won't think to trust just my words, but you'll see only these words are truthful. So get off my back Stetson! I exposed you, praised you, and dished you properly. (good luck little juniors!)

| The only issue I have with Stetson University is the fact that it is not very well known outside of Florida, a fact that comes inevitably with its small size. The faculty are fantastic, the students are diverse, leadership and volunteer opportunities abound, and most of the classes are outstanding and intellectually challenging. They offer an incredible study abroad program. Their library is quite small, but online resources are plentiful and the librarians are always willing to help.If you're going to college to party or only to earn more money in the future, Stetson might not be the right place for you. There are some people like that here, but the faculty push the fact that college is for personal and intellectual growth, for exploration of your passions and interests, and to help you become a better, more well-rounded individual who is capable of making a significant contribution to the community (yes, this is a current student speaking!). So if you're going to slack off and waste my and my professors' time, apply elsewhere, please. |

| the good things are that the teachers are friendly for the most part. you are one of the few students in your class. you know everyone, bad thing they know everything about you. there's not much diversity, so everyone sort of has cliques-its kinda like high school.Advice: Take your classes. Only the ones you need. Take the advise from the advisers as advise.. In the end, you're in control. Don't let them drive your life. Get in, get out. You'll be fine. |
