| Bright | I suggest you go to FSU or Gulf Coast University if you want a real social work education. This department is run by a bunch self-absorbed, unqualified, and unprofessional amateurs. | Collaboration/Competitive: A-, Education Quality: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | USF has some excellent programs, however, social work is not one of them. The department head and professors in the social work department are deaf to suggestions and unwilling to change. It's pretty sad actually. I really wanted to get an education but what I received was only one notch better than a diploma mill. I will attend Grad school someplace else. | University Resource Use: A+, Useful Schoolwork: D- | | | |

| Quite Bright | For people who've never been to another school besides USF, there appear to be little problems. But I attended a nationally ranked school for my undergraduate degree, and upon entering USF, quickly realized the University of South Florida was an unranked school for a reason. The way things are handled at this school will unfortunately keep this school unranked. If you are looking for a school that takes care in treating their students and the quality of education, find a different school. Even bigger schools where you are just a number will treat you better than the University of South Florida. Trying to get any helpful information concerning financial aid, academics, or any questions in general is an absolute task to talk to a person of knowledge, and by the time you actually get in contact with anyone they tell you to look it up on their website which is imposible to navigate through. Look for a different school. | Surrounding City: A-, Faculty Accessibility: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | I have a 3.6 and work hard to maintain that but this department is terrible. Department staff is rude and condescending and it is difficult to get help, instead you are forced to do projects over and over again instead of getting some guidance in the middle. I have attended several universities ( moved a lot due to military ) and this is the worst. I wonder if this department will hang around... | Surrounding City: B+, Education Quality: F | | | |
