The school has plenty of extracurricular activities to partake in, and the campuses have a nice aesthetic atmosphere. The classes can be a hit or miss in terms of challenging. It depends on the professors. Some of the professors are worth their position and will help you. Others are doing this just to make ends meet, and it is reflected in their teaching style. The administration sucks big time. They are rude, lazy, and condescending. Sometimes you have to visit a second or even third counselor in order to get a complete solution to your issue.

This is not a 2 year school. Valencia tries to keep you here forever. There is pregnant girls everywhere... EVERYWHERE. Some professors are easy going and some need to go back to school. The Students can be so dumb it is maddening.. But this so is cheap compared to others. PSpregnant girls everywhere

I got My AA from Valencia in Fine Arts.
Pros: I made lots of friends and going there really helped me learn what I really wanted to do. It really isn't a bad place to start out on your path to earning a BA because it is cheaper than most schools. There are quite a few clubs on east campus but not so much on the other campuses. I did learn a lot while I was here and it has helped me in my other studies.Cons: Some of the professors are really self centered. Some of them are really discouraging and play favorites even if the students are less talented than you. Some of them are kind of lost in their own worlds and are really out there (typically the Adjunct professors). However, some of the faculty is wonderful and really strives to help students improve their work and make the competitive for the real world.
Individual Value: A, Collaboration/Competitive: C
