I'd recommended it. It's an easy way to knock out two years of university at a fraction of the cost. Considering that you have to have the finances of a prince to go to school these days, who wouldn't want to take advantage of that? I don't have anything negative to say about the school really. I did the work, got 60 credits, and now I'm applying for graduation. I got accepted into UCF with no problem. Just follow the AA degree plan on Valencia's website and you'll be fine.

Valencia made me who I am today. I didn't think I had money to go to college but the people at Valencia helped me get grants and scholarships. The classes are small and the advising staff are there to help you each step of the way. The faculty are learning centered which means they want to make sure you learn what they teach. I would recommend this college to anyone. Just don't hesitate to ask if you need help. The people there are friendly and will assist you.

VCC is a great school to attend and can help you cut down on college costs, but just make sure you set goals early and know where you want to go after VCC ASAP (before or during your freshman year is best) in order to take the required courses to get into the next University of your choice (so you will not be wasting your time and money on classes that will not transfer). VCC is one of the highest rated community colleges in the nation and it shows; the majority of the teachers I have had were awesome and made my semesters fun, interesting and informative. My top advice is to hold off on getting your actual AA degree until you know for sure that you have all of the courses you need to transfer to your next college; it will save you a lot of hassle...especially if you want to go to a college like UF that has mandatory classes for specific majors for transfer students. Also, utilize the rate my professor site...it can help you pick out some of the best teachers whom love to help you make the most of your education.
