 | Quite Bright | The informational setting of Agnes Scott is wonderful. I really felt that I learned a lot. The overall social situation there leaves a lot to be desired. Too much estrogen in one place. I love my gal pals, but the situation there was nothing but deceit and backstabbing. It severely hindered my ability to focus on the educational aspects of my college experience. | Starting Job: Library assistant, Preparedness: F, Reputation: F | | |

| | Bright | Agnes Scott is a really good academic environment and really prepares students for grad and professional schools. The lack of men and social life forces you to be extremely focused. At Agnes I was focused 90% of the time, especially my junior and senior year. There truly is ZERO social life here, no boys, no sororities, no real parties and did I mention no boys. At times I do feel like I missed out on the "college experience" but you have to take the good with the bad. The good being, if you come here and ignore the lesbians and dead social scene, you'll have a quality experience. Faculty are extremely accessible and helpful. If I had to do it all over again, however, I might look into other schools simply because I feel like my years here were slightly miserable. Despite this however, I will be leaving Agnes with a respectable degree and a ton of knowledge. | Faculty Accessibility: A+, Social Life: F | | | |

| | Quite Bright | | I didn't appreciate my ASC experience until I spent a few years at a research I. In my opinion it is vital for undergraduates to have access to faculty. This is not an experience you can have at a UC. For that alone my years at Agnes Scott were well worth the money. As an undergraduate I was a little annoyed at how overzealous Public Safety seemed. But now that I have been the "real" world and been the victim of real crimes, I now wish I were back at ASC. That was probably the last time I felt truly safe and at ease. Enjoy the freedoms of personal security while you can. The food -- all I can say is outstanding! Again, didn't realize how good I had it. Cooking is hard! I dream that someday the food at my current institution will match the quality of the "slop" ASC served us at Sunday lunch. With a few years of perspective, I realize how wonderful of an experience I had. Wish I could go back. I can't believe I've turned into that soppy alumna. | Starting Job: Teaching Assistant, Preparedness: B+, Reputation: B+ | | |
