All the people saying that "it's hard toQuite BrightPreMed and Medical
All the people saying that "it's hard to make friends" are obviously not trying hard enough. I came from Albany to ASU and I didn't know ANYONE. I lived in the dorms and in the first 2 weeks I met a ton of people. One thing I recommend is going Greek. If that's not your thing then just hang out with them. I met a lot of people through people in the Greek community. The college is not easy. English and Humanities are ridiculously difficult so brace yourself. If you're thinking about going pre-med ASU is a good choice since one of the best medical colleges is right here in Augusta. If I had it to do over again I would choose Augusta State still.

ASU is well on its way to becomingQuite BrightCommunications
ASU is well on its way to becoming a strong, prominent university. Problem is, that in a desperate attempt to increase it's student body population they accept pretty much every application. Even those who clearly are not ready to attend college. The course work is difficult and not an average fall-back school. There is no on campus housing. Housing is an apartment complex (which is run by dictators, who are too worried with punishing simple alcohol violations than all the other gang and drug violence going on around them) about a mile away from campus. While there is a free shuttle that runs between the two, it makes getting to campus and home more difficult.

I trasfered with 60 units, the took 20. Later they told me they would only take 10. Thay put me all the way back in basic everything. I had to re-take many courses I have already completed at other universities. Some courses are only offered at 2-3pm. Which is when I work. They were not friendly with my 9-5 schedule at all.
