I would not recommend this school, a stateInterior Design
I would not recommend this school, a state college provides the same level of education at a far lower tuition rate.

There is no social life, the campus in Buckhead looks like a run-down office building, and the administration is only concerned with the students while in the recruiting process, after you're in, you basically only exist so your tuition comes through.

Faculty seemed friendly and knowlegeable enough, if it weren't for that reason only, I would feel like I threw away $30000.

Many students have commented on the fact thatBusiness - Management and Administration
Many students have commented on the fact that the admissions counselors are somewhat tenatious. I agree but think that some people, like myself, having been out of school almost 20 years really benefit from having someone walk me through the process. The academics were not at all easy. Not because I have been out of study for so long, but because the quality of the material and research required was challenging. The text books were excellent, and the entire program seemed to flow logically. I really enjoyed the ability to talk with my professors during online chats and I actually called the phone numbers to see if real students answered. We all agree that the program was very good. I attended Central Michigan University prior to enrolling at AIU. I found the courses there very boring and not even close to the quality of the program. I also attended Michigan State University for my undergraduate work, and I found AIU comparable to what I experienced there. I think for prospective students, you should realize that everone's experience is different. But the quality you will receive from AIU is outstanding.

I graduated in June 2003 from the MastersSchool of Information
I graduated in June 2003 from the Masters program in Information Technology. The only good thing I can say about this school is I went there to learn, and I was able to learn because I wanted to. The bad.....We were in groups in every class. Basically since I was the only one in my group that understood the material, I did 90% of the project work because the other group members just didnt care or didnt know what the heck was going on. Dont get me wrong, I tried on numerous occasions to explain things to them so they could understand it, outside of class. They got a Masters degree and dont even have the knowledge to use it. Thats probably why I had so hard of a time finding a professional job. This school has a good reputation with some businesses....if you want to work in data entry or some other remedial job duty. The career services absolutely stinks. The majority of my background was in Quality Assurance. The career counsellor advised me that I should not try to seek a job in I.T. or web/application programming and that I should try to get something closer to my background. HELLO, THATS WHY I WENT BACK FOR MY MASTERS PROGRAM...TO GET OUT OF QA AND GET INTO I.T.!!!!! Needless to say, AIU took a year of my life and $40,000 (tuition) from me. The year ill never recover. The money ill eventually recover...hopefully.
