This school at the campus i attended sucked. First the classes were small but they were too small and the teachers either came in late or started late or didnt even come in. All teachers were nice poeple but very few actually taught well or at all. The school is too expensive at $6000+/semester housing is the same. They have too many problems with giving out thier OWN scholarships. They would never credit me with the DEVRY community scholarship. I had to qripe every semester to get it! The lines were long in ever deparment everyday. Especially financial aid where i waited with a coaster that buzz's and i waited 2.5 hours one day. Their career sevices department is full of crap. They try to level you with everyone else. (IE: Iam an eagle scout and most companies will automatically interview eagle scouts) but my career services advisor said i CAN NOT put that on my resume. Thats a bunch of crap. I tried to reason with my advisor but he acted like a broken record and i did what i wanted anyways. I was not interested in starting a career just yet but career service tried to FORCE me to get a job even though ihad a full time job allready. Devry SHORT and SIMPLE:
They are severe paperwork pushers.
They will overcharge you.
They will try to charge you for fees that come outta no where
The staff is less than ok.
By the way i had to get all department to sign a permission slip just to graduate.
It toook them nearly 4 full months to MAIL me my associated degree! They are still trying to charge me money after i have recieved several statements saying i owe nothing!
I had about 2 or 3 good Proffessors their.
They use old equipment. Thier computers suck. Every year Devry tried to cut down on learning to teach you less of the bear minimum they think you need to learn to save them money. Advice: AVOID DEVRY unless you got $$$$$$$$ to blow
