A major disconnect exists between administration and students. Students are seemingly considered a necessary inconvenience by staff and admin. College officials think of themselves as leading a major university, rather than the community college that it is.

The facullty and college administration do not work together for the benefit of the student. The students must take all the initative themselves. The teachers do not care how you end up and will blow you off just to get you from asking them questions. The technical building classes and programs are a joke and certain teachers treat the students however they wish or at their discretion. They college dministration will continue to find things to keep you from graduating. Stay away from this college. Dalton state will only stop your success. You would be better off shoveling dirt, and have a britter future.

If you want to be a nurse, go ANYWHERE else! The LPN program is one of the toughest in the nation. If you make it through, you'll be respected professionally. However, if you want to ba an RN, don't waste your time with the LPN first. They don't even respect their own program. You have to start from SCRATCH to go on to RN! Don't let the advisors lie to you. The RN program is a pain to get into, one enrollment yearly. You have to wait a year after being accepted to begin. Just go somewhere else. That's the best advice I have. The leadership is a joke. I could go on, but I'll leave it @ that. I graduate soon, but I'm VERY disappointed.
