A lot of my friends that have graduated came out making 70-80K before signing bonuses and money for relocation. An Emory education tends to go a long way for employers; they'll perk their ears at the word, "Emory."

The education is top notch and the campus is pristine. I couldn't have been happier or had more fun for my undergrad years. When I entered as a freshman, I didn't know what I wanted to do or major in, but Emory is strong in the many areas you might want to explore (i.e. great med school, law, business, etc). The school is an interesting balance of Long Islanders and old Southerners, with some cultural diversity thrown in. Now an alumni, finding a job was not difficult, especially in the South where Emory carries a lot of weight... however also had many interviewers appreciate it from the North.

Super Brilliant
Like any university, Emory has its pros and cons. When I first came to the school, it really bothered me how many people appear flaunt wealth here. However, I know realize that these people only make up a small portion of emory's population. Emory has great opportunities, as it is one of the best schools in the country. The social scene is what you make of it. If one is into greek life, one can stay on campus and still find something to do nearly every night. But Atlanta provides unlimited entertainment, if one so chooses. Overall, Emory is very academic though and provides a good balance between social life and academics. The campus itself is gorgeous and is situated in a great area in Atlanta. For a lot of northerners, like myself, Atlanta is not what you would expect from a big city, as it is has a lot of suburban sprawl etc. Once you live here for a while and experience the life down here you will grow to appreciate it, if not love it. If your looking at top schools like Wash U., Dartmouth, and Johns Hopkins, you should definitely check out Emory.
