This "college" (more like a high school) did not care one hoot about that. They disregarded my medical mental state and used my autism against me with threats after I had an emotional mini-breakdown (like holding back my degree if I did not submit to psychological therapy ... at my own expense ... nevermind that I could barely afford to pay for college). I felt used and chewed up and spit out by the end of my time here. And I felt betrayed. Basically, if you are the weak of the herd, they will pounce on you. Also, republicans run this place, ultra-conservatives who dislike anyone who uses financial aid, especially African-Americans. They'll try to make you lose your financial aid.Please, everybody, there are other alternatives! Research the University System of Georgia. Preparedness: -, Reputation: - Have a Question? The soliders who go to this place absolutely HATE the civilian students, the professors are sub-par and they know it, and the dean of students does not care about the safety or development of new students.I would suggest a different junior college if I were you. Nearly ALL of the credits you earn here won't transfer. Useless. I've been put back into a "Freshman" status as a result! Also, this school is expensive for a community college. Finally, they are on a Quarter Hour system instead of a Credit Hour system, which allows THEM to get more money out of you and causes YOU to take less classes so you stay at their "college" longer!Stay away.
