Professors are largely the teach, not constantly scrambling for publication. There are always a few turkeys, but most of my teachers have been willing to go out of their way to help students succeed. Classes are challenging, but the amount of work is reasonable for college level courses. There is a lot of support for first- generation college students as well as non-traditional students. They have an active remedial program for those who are not fully prepared. I highly recommend Perimeter College as a place to start before moving to a four- year university.

The bureaucracy at this college is ridiculous! If you are applying as a transient or online student be prepared to deal with the worst service ever. It is hard to get anyone on the phone or a response in person at the school. I eventually took a trip to the school and was told to go online, really??? It is hurdle after hurdle, just when you think you are in the clear you there is always something to stop in your tracks. As a transient student you would think a transient letter is enough to prove you have passed all prerequisites to register for classes, but not at this school. I was asked to call each class department and am still waiting for a response when classes start the next business day.

The administration is a bit of a joke. There is little to no support with counsel, planning, financial aid, etc.
