The professors are essentially a grab bag. You will find some that are amazing at what they do, some that have never taught the subject before. This seems to happen more in the foundations. Some teachers will grade based on your improvement. Those are the ones who understand that not all students want to be drawing for the rest of their life. some teachers how ever seem to grade on the belief that in order to get any thing higher than a C you should have already taken the class at least once.

I really feel like that all the money we throw at SCAD is used with the intention to make SCAD look better with the students as an after thought. The library has over 70 new iMacs which cost about $1300 each. How ever when my Motorcycle was vandalized IN THE GATED DYSON PARKING LOT! not 200 feet from the security guards They have no cameras any were except the entrances so the only thing they did was call a cop who gave me crap about no knowing my social security number.

The food is barely eatable even if you are starving. And it's never worth the $7 a meal they charge you.

The dorms are alright. Over priced but Turner House has nothing dramatically wrong with it.
SCAD WILL TAKE EVERY PENNY THEY CAN EVERY CHANCE THEY GET. There are tons of different fees and charges and peniltys every time you turn around. Do your reserch. Try and get some scholorships and make sure to keep you GPA above a 3.0. That's how they are able to give money to incoming 50% of students every year, most aren't able to keep it past their first quarter.

The school is very demanding but the professors are helpful. I am confident I will get a job with a good company when I graduate.I grew up in Baltimore...Savannah is safer and prettier.
