SCAD is a great school. It has the connection that one needs to make it in my field. All of the professors worked in the field, and know what is expected. This school's goal is to prepare students for the field they want to work in. But don't get me wrong. SCAD expects a lot from it's students, but if you care about what you're studying, then it doesn't matter. My only complaint that I have about SCAD is it's price tag.

The Savannah College of Art and Design is a university for students who are seeking creative careers. It's for students who are serious about their education and inhibit the drive and motivation needed to succeed not only during their educational career at SCAD, but also in the work field, as well as in life.
SCAD offers its students top education, and I am not saying that. The facilities and resources that SCAD offers its students are industry-standard. A SCAD student learns from day 1 how to work with programs and machinery that it being used in today's industry.

SCAD is a very helpful institution. The faculty and students are extremely personable. The resources available are amazing, the job opportunities are great, and they try really hard to make an active campus life possible. This especially appeals to me because I live 20 minutes away from campus. BUT you must know that the work load at SCAD is huge. You have to learn to manage your time well immediately. It is possible though, I have two jobs, an active social life on and off campus, and am a full time student.
