I loved going to school at West Georgia and feel overall it was a great experience. I do wish however that I had a stronger advisor. Mine asked what I wanted to do and set up the quickest way out. At 17 I only had a general idea of what I wanted to do in life. I advice everyone to broaden their class schedule. Take you field related classes, but go for the double degree or at least take classes in another field that you can fall back on. If you can afford it stay in school until you earn your masters degree! College is great, but get the work done and then party!

Heres the deal, this school is high ranked for a division two institution. The scholastics are somewhat difficult but not anything you can't handle and still be able to party everynight. The city sucks as far as politics and tradition, but the school is within an hour of everything you could possibly want to do except for a real beach. So if you want social life and a higher education then West Georgia is a great place.

the university is a fairly friendly one, i love the environment. it isnt too wild as people said it would be (West ga. is stereotyped as a party school). as with life, your success depends mainly on what you want to accomplish, and if you are willing to do what it takes to get what you want out of life. the opportunity is there, just take advantage of it----hey youre paying for it.
