Although YHC is a tiny school, I feel it made for an experience that is unobtainable at any other institution. No one who attended a different college or university seems to have the fond memories and attachment to their alma mater as my fellow graduates and I. The familial attitude of the student body was unlike anything else I've experienced at other schools. However, the academics are very demanding. With such a small student:teacher ratio, you can expect a higher demand to be placed upon you. If you prefer to take with you from college more stories than education, I would recommend looking elsewhere. YHC offers both, which is commendable.

Not so bright
Overall Georgia Southern is a good school . There is always tons to do. It is hard to meeet people though unless you get out and participate. The town of statesboro is small but all the clubs and night spots surround the campus so its cool. You can walk almost anywhere.

I would definitely recomment Young Harris College. Find friends, get involved with activities on campus, move out of your comfort zone.
