Not so bright
I have attended YHC for 5 semeseters as a part time student. It hasn't been necessarily difficult at all. Most students that I know both at YHC, are no different than those attending their first two years of any other state run college in GA. Most want to come to have fun. Unfortunately, for those seeking excitement- you won't find it here unless you want to go the Greek parties at 'ole man's place off of Pine Log. Nothing like a big university. If you want to come to YHC to get out of sick and overcrowded institutions- it is for you. They have some very good teachers there that will do a good job helping you understand the material if you will just put forth a little effort! Most students don't really seem to care, or go in to class with a "chip" on their shoulder thinking they know more than the teacher. (DO NOT do this to Dr. Franklin! He'll call your bluff!)

In all, I would not trade my time at YHC so far for anything. Sure, if you commute- it takes a little doing to get involved on campus, but it can be done. No problem. There are always things to do. If you want to- there are several Bible study, support and religious groups on campus. Neat thing about YHC- nothing stays the same very long! Remember- a person that when here 2 years ago will find people very different from today. A complete "changing of the guard" happens every 2 years.

It's a great little college if it is for you. I really love it. If you get in, you must take Dr. Franklin and Dr. March. (Franklin is leaned a little towards the left- tell him "Say it proud.." sent you.

Life is all about choices. Make the most of it.
