| Not so bright | If you are looking for a quick way for them to take your money and for you to POSSIBLY get a piece of paper saying you know this stuff then Heald is the right place for you. If you go there expecting a challenge and expecting to learn something then go elsewhere. Also be aware of the incompetent finance department. They dont know what they are doing. You will have to be on top of them if your going there. They told me I would be able to go to Heald with pell grants and didnt have to pay a thing for low income families. They told me to take a loan out for now and the grants will go through and pay for the school. Sort of like a reimbursement for the loan I had to take out. At the end of the year I owed more than 10,000 dollars for going to that school. Heald also claims they have a "job placement" program for life. I was out of a job and tried to contact them for help in finding a job. It went on for months, no one will get back to you. I even went to the school to get some help. No one got back to me. I also heard now if you want to attend they jacked the prices up to about 30,000 dollars to go to Heald. When I went it was only 20,000 Books every quarter cost way too much. Back when I went we couldnt sell back our books. SO when we were done with the books they just sat my closet. I know someone had just recently bought the school. Hopefully some things have changed. | Friendliness: A, Faculty Accessibility: F | | | |

| Quite Bright | With Heald trying to change from non-profit to profit, they really have stopped trying to help the students get an education, and have started focusing on making nice with the new owners. Classes are being canceled, students that they have to "teach through" are getting thrown into random classes just to finish the degree. | Starting Job: Netwrok Admin, Preparedness: F, Reputation: F | | |

| Quite Bright | I had an experience with a particular instructor who was very close minded and rude. When he was reported to the Dean's office--basically nothing was done about it. It was a "hush hush" type of situation. This instructor still teachers there and he is not at all educated in the field he was teaching. This was only during 1 quarter, other than that instructor, most all of the instructors are professional and knowledgeable in their field. | Education Quality: A-, Faculty Accessibility: C+ | | | |
