Good University in terms of education quality.Quite BrightComputer Science
Good University in terms of education quality. Professors teach classes, never TA's, and the size of the college allows them to know your name and help you whenever you need it. Social life, however, is lacking. Little to nothing to do in the city. If you are looking to party, this sadly, is not the place for you. There is also no off campus living which is my biggest problem with the college. Really good place to attend if you are playing sports because athletes get priority treatment.

If you are interested in attending Central, thinkQuite BrightPreMed and Medical
If you are interested in attending Central, think about what you want your college experience to be like. If you don't mind not being busy all the time or not having any parties or festivities to ever go to, then Central won't be a problem. If what you had in mind for college was a college town with a college atmosphere, you may want to consider other options. If you want a school with professors that are generally willing to help you, Central is great.

Question
I attended Central College for three and aQuite Bright
I attended Central College for three and a half years. I experienced what it was like to have a professor call me a liar to most of a department, the assistant dean of students, and the dean of students. I also experienced what it was like to have a few professors encourage me and all the others tearing me apart and waiting for me to fail. I have transferred out of Central College because it was not worth my time or money. I never opened a book and still received mostly As. The classes did not challenge me at all and I feel like I have learned nothing. Central is conscerned about their statistics, they like to make sure students get out in four years with a degree even if it is not all you hoped for. I felt like a statistic. In my experience they back the faculty before they back their students. There are still good professors on this campus, it just depends what department you want to go into. Students on the campus are GREAT! There are always things going on that you can get involved with. Everyone is on the same level; upperclassmen willing help underclassmen if they have questions and walking around campus social groups are mixed with all different years of students.
