The students are allowed to have and use Any weapon they want on campus. The Security officer's do not know what Security means here. to them they see a party and join in. Many older adults have been abused here by students. some have been injured. and staff when questioned only answer we are not responsible or sorry that is not information we can tell you. you mean to tell me my own records are sealed from me? The staff here has a IQ in the Negatives. I have never seen a security Guard check a door on a building for an Hour looking at it like it is not locked when it is? Try talking to them and well, English must not be their first language, I dont honestly think they know any languages other then ERR and DAH! when they send you an email it is half consistent with improper capitalization, grammar and etc. Kinda like how i am typing this. but much worse. Spelling is also a problem for this college. one email was so hard to read from the Security staff it was unreal. itlokedaxactlylikethas, no spaces, no proper grammar, spacing, just pure horrible. It is no wonder the Campus View is party City! you can not even think of being a real student there. SO many students here are attacked, yet when it is reported. instead of being helped you get attacked even more. the staff just gives out your personal information. I found that out when my bank called to ask a few questions. MY ss card number was also used. I am not the only one that has been dealing with this. the annual crime report is a fake. the city of ankeny is crime filled. it is not possible that a campus would have no actual crimes. especially after being reported. Housing on the same hand is like the City Dump.4, 5, 6 bags of garbage at the doors of apartments, stairs filled with junk. I paid $650/mo. for a puny little bedroom and a abnormal kitchen/living room. DMACC is Junk, you are paying for a pretty outside, but the insides are pathetic. especially for a Library. the main campus with a tiny library. computer labs that fill up when you have an essay to do.From High School to High School. you did not graduate!
