University is a private, coeducational university in Des Moines, Iowa's
capital and the state's center for business, publishing, government, and
culture. Drake offers its 5200 students more than 70 undergraduate
majors in six colleges and schools - Arts and Sciences,
Business and Public Administration, Education, Fine Arts, Journalism and Mass
Communication, and Pharmacy and Health sciences. Ninety-five percent of Drake
graduates find professional employment or enter graduate schools within six
