I think that NICC offers a quality educationQuite BrightAgriculture/Horticulture
I think that NICC offers a quality education for those who are willing to work for it. It's not something that you get to lazy back in your seats and expect to be handed to you. This school provides a real-world feel into an occupation and has a great background. It's not exactly the party school, but it's the one I'd rather go to. The Ag. Departement is great, and I am really glad that the credits transfer easily incase I decide to pursue studying further at another school or in another state.

I grew up with NICC basically in myBrightUndecided
I grew up with NICC basically in my backyard. It is a great college to help those who just need General Eds., Associates, or are looking to take a couple of classes. As a high school student of the area, I also had the chance to get half of my Gen. Eds. done before I graduated. Some of my fellow students graduated high school WITH an Associates degree. It's not a place to go solely for kicks and giggles. There isn't excessive partying, or an abundance of night life or extra curricular activities to distract you from studying. That is good in some regards though. It is located in a historically rich and friendly small town community and provides quality education to the students. NICC is a great community college for a stepping stone because of its great transferrable credits. I recommend this college for people who are serious about education and are looking for people to really connect with. This school is especially known for its Agriculture department, just FYI.

Most of the professors are willing to helpComputer Science
Most of the professors are willing to help you if you're willing to put the work in. I've been a student at two other community colleges across the United States and this one was the best by far in my experience. Classes weren't over crowded. Parking typically was not an issue. A majority of the students in my classes were helpful. I rarely if ever sat in any kind of traffic driving to any of the community colleges locations. The only downside sometimes the winter weather got bad and made traveling impossible. The campus is clean from what I saw. Faculty and staff are willing to work with students and try to accommodate them, which is not the case at a lot of colleges. I would recommend Northeast Iowa Community College.
